In this article we explain in detail what each configuration option does within the application.
Although you will find our recommendations here, every device has different technical capabilities. We advise you to try the different options and combinations until you find the one that best suits your venue.
Immersive camera mode
Optimises the visual space on your work screen.
On: The camera preview will be displayed in full screen.
Off: The camera view will be partial, leaving more visible space for the fixed interface.
Periscope mode
⚙️ Essential setting if you are using the mirror mount.
If your restaurant uses the Bronze periscope, you must enable this option. The system will automatically correct the mirror effect so that images are not displayed in reverse. This ensures the ticket is perfectly legible — a mandatory condition for aggregators to accept any dispute or refund.
Photo resolution
Adjusts the level of detail and sharpness of the captures.
Recommendation: Medium Quality. The higher the resolution, the better the image quality, but the larger the file size. During peak demand or if the venue's internet connection experiences speed drops, high-resolution photos will take too long to upload, slowing down operations.
Capture method
Defines the internal technology the app uses to take the photo.
Recommendation: Select "ImageCaptureAPI". This option makes the most of the camera sensor's full field of view.
Note: Avoid the "Canvas" option unless support instructs you to, as it only captures what is strictly shown within the viewfinder frame, reducing the usable area.
Detect black photos
An automatic safety filter to save data and avoid errors.
Recommendation: Keep enabled. It helps the system automatically discard images that have been captured completely in black or by mistake, preventing them from interfering with the correct analysis of orders.
Exposure compensation
This scale allows you to manually adjust the camera brightness. It is a key tool for improving ticket readability and product visibility in venues with complex lighting.
If photos come out too dark: Increase the scale value (+).
If photos come out very white or overexposed: Decrease the scale value (-).
If the lighting is already correct: Keep the value at 0.
